Lately, I have had the privilege of staying home with my boys. Honestly, It's a little weird having the 3 of us home with no vacation in sight or welcoming family into town. We do love being able to play more games, read more books, and check some items off of our "House To Do List". Finally, we are taking more off the list, than what we are adding on. Though, this hasn't been our main focus, nope, potty training is! We are attempting to get our bouncy, energetic 2 1/2 year old to use the potty, so he is able to go to Preschool starting in, uh oh, 3 weeks. It amazes me that Josh is already old enough to go to Preschool, but that time has arrived and we are very excited.
This summer has been a very different experience for us because we had central air and heat put in last November, so it's much more tolerable. The house actually cools down in 5 minutes to the set temperature, rather than taking 5 hours to cool to an astounding 85 degrees. Where we're from 85 degrees is a summer high (outside)!
The most beautiful part about summers in Redlands is the evening time. It cools down perfectly for late evening walks, BBQ's with friends, or to have one on one time with the hubby (my personal favorite).
